I never have epoxy setting up on my roller cover. I never worry about having to hurry.

By using slow hardener and small batches (6oz.), I use one roller cover per coat, wet-out included.

The roller cover soaks up about an ounce of resin, which you should let it do, all the way around, before you start
application. Once the roller cover has absorbed the resin it will make almost no bubbles or foam.

Many don't wait for the roller cover to absorb the resin, so they get foam and bubbles when they press the air out of the
roller cover. Most people try to apply too much resin also. You are applying the right amount if you're not getting drips
or runs.

Slow hardener, small batches, poured into a flat roller tray with warm temperatures will keep your resin
thin and give you a long working time to wet-out every fiberglass fiber for a transparent lay-up.

The thin resin and slow set-up allow any bubbles or foam to dissipate, and glass to go transparent.

Consistently, that's what counts. No worries, as they say down under.

Don't shoot yourself in the foot. Wait until you have warm weather or a warm shop.
