Speaking of constant camber the semi-stripper I mentioned - it's at http://www.kayakforum.com/cgi-bin/Building/index.cgi/md/read/id/203415/sbj/skin-on-frame-preferred-rib-material/ - is a variant of the constant camber method, since the bilge section is constant throughout the length of the boat.
