: warmer weather. I was refering to epoxy as "wetting"
: the wood before the fiberglass. I guess I mean to say I will use
: the same System Three Silver Tip as my epoxy coat on the wood
: first, then apply the fiberglass after it sets up, and apply my
: first coat of epoxy (same mix as my first mixture used to soak
: in to the wood. Then after that sets up apply another coat of
: same mixture as my second coat. Hopefully I can nail the timming
: so I can get a chemical bond. Same method again for the inside
: of the deck, but on the second fill coat I would add second
: layer of fiberglass in the key areas. At this point before I
: reasemble I will go back too cutting the cockpit and building
: the coaming. I think I am hearing you all correctly....right? I
: know you guys all say just have fun and do the best you can, but
: man you guys set the bar high. And to be able to sit in a kyak
: that look even close to as nice as what I see would be a treat.

On the insides for most of the boat you don't need a fill coat, I do it at the cockpit and where my feet will be, otherwise it just adds weight.
