"The strip built sea kayak" is the first book, and his second book is called "building strip planked boats". Both books are excellent the second book introduces new ideas as it is a decade newer but the first book is a staple to have and is an easier more step by step read for the newest to the idea of strip building like I was when I got it in my opinion. Oh ya Nick Shade of guillemot kayaks is the authors name he also is the man responsible for this forum. Btw nick thanks again for that!
