Thank you, but it seems unnecessary to contact you directly via your e-mail as both Clayton and Bill pointed out that the original Nikumi design should fit for even a fatso like me. ;-) Also, you are here already.
This is getting a bit surreal... (sorry, but I'm on a business trip in Germany and have just returned to my hotel after a long dinner with lots of beverages, no wonder this seems surreal.)
Anyway, after the kind input of the forum members I decided to go with the original design. During the building process, I am sure I will refer to your website. (which I appreciate a lot)
My other half will get a Sea Bea that should be perfect for her petite size and lack of paddling experience. (Actually, she is only concerned about the painting: she wants it to be dark green with a US military star on it.(?) She is a kind of WWII freak and Willis Jeep fan. Can't afford a Willis Jeep, but can compensate with a military paint kayak - is my idea to comfort her. :-) )

I am hoping to update you with nice photos of the kayaks within a few months.
