: Hi, My son and I are building the stitch and glue night heron from

A lot of people glue them on the bad side of one sheet of plywood, then stack that on another sheet. Good plys facing together. Cut on the lines and you have matching pieces for the left and right sides. Since the good sides are together on the inside of this stack yo won't get any tearour or splintering on the good face.
Spray glue or old fashioned rubber cement works fine for attaching the patterns. Before you get out the glue, you might want ot use an iron to press out the wrinkles and creases in the plans.
