: I'm just a day or so away from varnishing my first build and need
: some advise. First, what's the best solvent/cleaner for wiping
: down the boat before the first coat of varnish and for cleaning
: the sanding dust off between coats? Lacquer thinner? Mineral
: Spirits? Denatured alcohol? I've tried them all during the epoxy
: sanding and couldn't tell much difference besides the odors.

: Also, I bought a qt. of Schooner from CLC. The can strongly
: encourages using #333 thinner. Is this proprietary to Interlux?
: Can I get by with some high quality turpentine or mineral spirits?
