: I use epoxy rollers, prefer West brand. They are very thin foam
: covers so don't hold a huge amount of varnish. You're more
: pushing the varnish around, like rolling epoxy, not like rolling
: paint. The roller only goes one direction, not back and forth
: like painting a wall, this minimizes the bubbles and tipping
: them off with a dry foam brush eliminates most of the rest.
: There will be some left, have to have faith in the varnish,
: they'll come out of the surface on their own. Helps to have a
: warm shop to do this.

: I can though varnish the bottom one side at a time fast enough that
: I still have a wet edge on the second side, so you're not trying
: to work on both sides at once. 10-15 minutes total to varnish
: the bottom per coat.

Hi Bill, Thanks for the info I'm defenately getting those rollers. This may be off topic but I would like to run something by you
and get your vibes in it. Last year I made my first kayak and had a devil of a time getting the tape to bed on the inside shear
when I put top to bottom. This year I made a jig,its a small roller frame with 5 fender washers ans 5 small nut spaced between
the washers the nuts are loose and the end of the axle I drilled a small hole for a cotter pin. hope this works to get the glass down
