And its' bloody difficult to sand. That is the mixture I used to fill around the brass stem bands when I am installing them. The silica thickened stuff will last forever. I have yet to mess up a mix like that by running over rocks, sand and ice. Give me time, though, I will start working on it again this Wednesday. Yep, the 2011 kayaking season officially begins. Woo hoo!
