Just to let everyone know, I'll soon be helping a friend build his SOF, he's had the wood for the boat for about 2 years, lost his job and been working part time jobs to make ends meet so I mentioned that if he used my covering method, and let me take lots of pictures, I'd pay for the skin. Actually I have lots of extra materials here, so it's no biggy. Going to use the pictures to finally make a guide for my method (dacron/glass) of covering SOF's.

This is turning into a fairly busy spring, building a yet unannounced stripper, helping my friend with his SOF, finishing up the catamaran kayak and trying to outfit my sports tourer/adventure bike (motorcycle), oh yeah and teaching fiberglassing for a sorta local (hour and a half drive) high school building a strip kayak for charity.
