Hi Stephen,

First, I should mention for everyone else's benifit that this is a rental space you've got, it's not your own shop and others are working in it while you're there too.

Heat guns generally don't throw heat very far, by the time it's 3' away from the gun it's only warm air. Just don't aim it at a pile of sawdust :)
