Wow -- thanks for sharing the picture. That's pretty cool, and a bit sobering as well. Your accident like our mishap on the Buffalo River (C15 broached + pinned against a root ball). We were lucky and only broke one chine (right at frame 2, at the screw -- guess I should use lashings next time). We were able to use the kayak the rest of the vacation, no problem. I still haven't fixed the broken stringer.
