: The seat is a hanging type - there are 4 bolts down through the
: deck right above the cut-off arms. They hold the seat in place
: (stop it from sliding) while the butt of the seat sits on bottom

: with a REALLY low back coaming and deck. Having the seat lip

: perfect. The back band allows for the free movement as well.

I think we may well try this on the current SOF I'm helping a friend build, cheap way to make a comfy seat, very cool :)
