: would be more work than fill coating and sanding. One of the big
: advantages of it is that it leaves a finely textured surface
: that you can bond to without sanding or with a little sanding
: you have a uniform surface for finishing. So I guess the short
: answer is, it depends. Another downside is that it gets used
: once and thrown away.

The last reason is why I don't play with it, $10 a yard for one use and toss in the garbage....yikes!
