: somewhat less than 6 ounces :) I used it on the catamaran kayak
: where every once counts (has two hulls). The heavier material
: shrinks tighter, makes a more stable surface to glass over.

: The dacron ends up being somewhat like a poor man's version of
: Kevlar in the combined weave, adds a degree of toughness to the

That is very helpful. I have a Sea Pup frame that has never been covered and I want to try the Dacron Glass system out on it.
