I hadn't really thought about the CG and now that you mention it he does seem more stable than i am in it.

I am was also surprised that i fit in it as easily as i did (ok maybe it wasn't an easy fit but at least i didn't need the vaseline) His cockpit is the same size as mine though so that helps.

My wife keeps saying we should just buy a plastic boat for him to get a comfortable in and make the whole experience more enjoyable so that he will want to go. I could always re-introduce him to a "real" boat in a couple years. My wife is not totally sold on SOF boats - i'm not sure she totally trusts me. ;)
