I plan on mounting a v shaped sail on the bow of my 17' strip. I am using the the small female side rail mounts from a bimini I had on my Thompson out board to mount it to the bow. From that I plan to have two fiberglass poles and then the sail shapped inbetween. When I stow it it will just colaps down towards me onto my deck of which I will be able to strap down simple enough. I expect it to be about 3' tall when raised. Has anyone made something like this? I would like to see pictures if you have. Good for going with the wind, I presume marginal with cross wind. I plan on doing some long distance trips and having a small sail to assis would be nice.
Thanks
