: About a year ago, I built a West Greenland paddle from a single 8
: ft. cedar 1" x 4". The paddle is laminated in the
: 1" dimension using the 4 waste pieces from cutting the
: paddle shape from the 1" x 4" to allow a 1 1/4" x
: 1 1/2" loom tapering off toward the blade tips. The economy
: of material usage appealed to my Yankee heritage then and
: appeals to me now. The on-line instructions I followed were very
: easy and the resulting paddle was very successful.
: Now that I would like to build another one, I can't find the
: on-line instructions. Is anyone aware of the designer or the
: on-line address to be able to give me a pointer?
: Thanks.
I remember that this actually came up and was linked fairly recently - search back within the last two weeks' posts, and you should find what you are looking for.
