Bill, I am assuming he's going to come back and finish the job right in a week or two. By then the epoxy will have cured for a bit longer, and that first coat of varnish may have hardened.

For now he can paddle the thing with one coat of varnish on it, or no coats of varnish for that matter.

hmmm, maybe I shouldn't assume this?
