Hi again Nick,

I do wonder how you're cleaning the hull prior to putting on the glass. Some solvents can be a problem with glass as well as some cleaning solutions, might seem minor but bubbles happen because of little things. Soap and/or oil will stop the epoxy from bonding to the surface. There have been a couple minor problems people have had on this forum just using oil in the shop for other things that contaminated the boat prior to glassing that caused similiar problems.

That said, the glass should fairly easily lay smoothly on the hull, though it does take some time to smooth it out. Any surface roughness will cause problems with this, if the wood wasn't really smooth before you applied the seal coat that can make the surface rough enough that the glass will snag the rough spots and not be easy at all to smooth out. Not being able to see the boat in person means you have to be our eyes :)
