Did you raise the temperature of the shop before glassing? Did yo precoat the wood?

If the wood was bare and you upped the temp in the room, you can get out-gassing as the wood expands and squeezes out air which can cause a blister(s).
You would normally up the temperature several hours before glassing.

You can cut out the blister glass and put a patch on it. they wound so tiny that I doubt that I would do the big overlap and sanding away edges routine. I might just fill them with epoxy. If they are on the bottom, I assume you will put a football shape glass piece anyhow ??
