Here's his description of the form creation process:

I have not sent them back, as a couple members here privately advised me to give it a shot with these forms. Given the amount of time it will take to get another set, I think it's worth it to at least see if the forms line up correctly when put on the strongback.

They stopped responding to my emails last week, so unless things turn around drastically I'd really advise everybody to stay away from Classic Boat Kits.

: If they're a small organization they may be making each set to
: order. In their place I would cut a rough blank then smooth it
: with a router and a template bit, very quick and precise. I
: suspect the clamping arrangement slipped or the blank was
: undersized to begin with.
