I gave up on waterproof cameras, Bill, they all end up at the bottom of the river sooner or later. That said, my Pentax Optio lasted me 6-years before its seals gave way while I was snorkeling at Yost Van Dyke last year. Bloody thing wouldn't work even after soaking it in clean water and letting it dry for an eon or two. Oddly enough, I am still using my Canon Rebel xTi...even dropped that into a bucket of clean water accidently one dark evening after imbibing a little...it is working just fine...had that one for something like 4 years now. Will I ever get a new WP camera...probably not but if someone wants to give me one...I wouldn't turn them down.
