: For now i think i'll leave it alone and continue with building the
: coaming, glassing the interior, and joining the deck/hull. Then

You can certainly pour and spread the epoxy, do it however it works best for you. Finishing it later is fine too, what I'd probably do, gives you a longer chance to think the process thru.

Yep, CF is somewhat pricy. Worth shopping around, prices sometimes vary considerably depending who you buy from. Only problem I had handing it is it doesn't change color when wet as much as fiberglass does. It's pretty much black and shiny on the roll and black and shiny wet with epoxy, hard to tell if you've got too much resin on it.
