Safest thing to do is try it some scrap, give it a day or two to dry and then see how it looks. Wad up the sample, scrap it, sand it what ever other torture you can think of and see how it holds up. Much safer than ruining your new skin on your boat.
My guess is it will do just fine. Most everything sticks to polyester.
