And Steve, thanks big time to you, amigo! Sometimes I think I'm the only person in the world with a lightweight kayak OCD. I just got through paddling the heck out of my OI II, and lemme tell you, a 30 lb boat is a real joy on the water! But there is a downside .... if the wind is blowing a good 20 mph or better, which is pretty typical around here, it can easily blow the boat off the racks, so you really gotta step lively when loading and unloading. And yeah, I've had 'em blow off and bounce off the ground before, it's no fun. For the past couple weeks the winds have been more like 30+ mph, so I just load the 50+ lb Valley Nordkapp instead.
