I'm building the F1 kayak designed by Brian Schulz....
http://www.capefalconkayak.com/f1details.html
In the next day or so I'll marking the rib locations. In the drawing, the rib at the back of the cockpit has a large space between it and the next one forward of it. The explanation with the picture says..."The rib behind the cockpit should be shifted forward so the forward edge of that rib is 3 inches forward of the forward edge of the backrest deck beam." But the adjusted picture still shows a large space.....
Anyone out there building this kayak?
Is the spacing of the ribs really that critical? Without this forum, I'd likely just go ahead and adjust the spacing until even and then go ahead and build....:)
Thanks,
Bill
