Strip: hull curl
I am building my very first strip boat, a petrel. With help from you guys and other research, all has gone well. Im all stipped up and have glassed the outside of hull and deck. I glassed the hull first and added 1 fill coat. I then pulled the hull off the forms and glassed the deck. meanwhile the hull curled up so tight I cant get it back on the form without cracking the strips. I'm sure that after the inside is glassed the cracks wont be a problem, but i dont know if I'll ever get the seam aligned with the deck unless I can fix the problem before It's glassed. Has anyone experienced this and what can I do?
