seems to work.

an essential part of this arrangement are the two KajakSport adjusters on the rudder lines above the rear deck. with them one can center the rudder easily AND control the tension of the lines. with higher tension the rudder action stiffens, and it can be trimmed to eliminate weathercocking and left alone ie. it will stay where it is and the kayaker can enjoy full support with no need to constantly mind the rudder.

or the tensoin can be low and then the rudder is very responsive but needs constant attention.
