5 min epoxy

In Response To: Strip: Fastening velcro to kayak (Len Thunberg)

I've had good luck with the hardware store 5 min epoxy in the twin tubes. Make sure you sand the boat surface clean and depending on the velcro, I sand that too, especially if it's shiny. I use a credit card and squeegee some on both surfaces and once it gets tacky, press them together.
