For those who are interested I finished the skin on my DoubleDarka just in time to haul it with some of my strip builds to the Texas Boat Builders Messabout. Here is a picture of the DoubleDarka. I admit I did not launch the double. The wind was blowing 35 mph plus and I held off for a better day. But we did paddle the Strip Nikumi and our Outer Islands. When I say we I ment Kurt Maurer and myself. I had a heck of a great time in Texas and the Messabout was loads of fun. I got some good pictures at the Messabout but that is for another post.
The deck rigging is incomplete but the time was short and at least I could bring the double and show it off to intrested builders.
Got to get back to work now.
