I fully agree, and I'd extend the statement to most skills. Every now and then someone comes along in a given field and proves it wrong, but they're the exception to the rule. I certainly am not that exception. I'm good, but not _that_ good. *grin and a wink*

I'm not saying I want to master every kayaking technique before I test ride another design. I would like to gain enough experience to at least "have a clue", though.

I should've elaborated on "in a while"... I've got to build at least one SoF for the wife this winter, and I'm starting to get a few friends/coworkers that are also interested. I'm thinking about doing another one for myself, too. That should keep my number of projects up during the cold & snowy months. Next paddling season, I want to be paddling... so maybe the winter after next. Hopefully, I have a lot of building seasons left, may it please the Big Guy Upstairs.
