Hello,
So I'm almost to the point of being done stripping my hull..
Curious what could go wrong if I finished, pulled staples and started sanding the outside before flipping and stripping the deck?
The reason I'm wondering is I need to pick up some more wood to do the deck. Isn't exactly fitting into the budget at the moment, but I do want to keep some forward momentum :) That and I'm dying to see how this looks smoothed out! I'd like to keep the hull on the forms when I start the deck.. seems like it would be easier to make the seam line up right...
So would there be any harm in finishing the hull, pull staples, leave it on the forms, start to sand/finish the outside.
Then when I can get the deck wood, flipping and stripping the deck? The only problem I can think of is maybe some deflection of the hull/forms with the staples being gone..
Thanks for any input or advice!
