A present for my wife, the John Winters design is 15'6" long and weighs less than 50 pounds, all up. Her hull is WRC. Interior stems are laminated Douglas Fir, with laminated Red Oak on the outsides. Fore & aft bulkheads are minicel foam, gooped in place. A Beckson watertight port provides access to the aft compartment. She's stable, comfortable, and pretty quick. Now, a Great Auk for me!
