Hi Bryan,

Ebonzing. It's a chemical that's applied to the wood that turns it black, or nearly so. Normally it's done with a container of white vinegar with steel wool disolved in it. If you add a few tea bags to the mix they add tannin to the mix so it darkens ceder more easily. There are other things that help, email me off the list and I'll send you some stuff that'll help, I bought a several lifetime supply by mistake .
