I use an aluminum cookie sheet to hold my ~6oz batches once they are mixed in calibrated cups. The epoxy spreads out thinly due to the size of the cookie sheet, and the aluminum is a good conductor to disperse the heat. A squeegie works well to remove the last bit before loading another batch. When I'm done, a rinse with vinegar cleans the sheet before putting it away.
