Well to me it's a copy of your work, pretty obvious.

If the design has a copywrite you likely have a case, not sure it's worth pursuing though.

If the design doesn't have a copywrite then you you really can't do much legally. While it's very poor form to copy someone else's design work, it's not really illegal, probably should be, but would be difficult to prove.

I'd write a nice note to Sea Kayaker magazine and explain what you said in your blog, they've always seemed a reasonable group, perhaps they'll publish your letter in their magazine. That should just about eliminate any market Zegul would have for that boat I'd think :)

I saw the article in my copy of Sea Kayaker and thougth it looked familiar but didn't make the connection to your boat. It most certainly isn't a baidarka though. Even my paddling friends that arn't into traditional boats, but have listened to me thought it didn't look like a baidarka ;)
