Just handling metals, I can taste the metal. Without bringing hand to mouth. I really don't like the taste of copper. Or zinc, or alu or steel. :(

I could probably make a testbed, a trailer or summat, load it and cycle around with it attached to the back of my trike. Around here, that's as good as any test-to-destruction. If it survives the road, twould be grand for kayaks.
Maybe after I re-dig my greywater soak pit. And fix the soffit.

It doesn't take much to clean off the oxide, a quick rub of fine carbide paper does the job.
