Mahogany too, I've made a whole bunch of sailboat tillers in strange shapes laminated of layers of white ash and honduras mahogany, makes it strong and pretty.

Also pretty on laminated external stems.

Of course decent honduras mahogany has gotten a bit pricy these days.
