That's exciting news. Hopefully you can get out paddling a bit before the ice sets in again. I am in Florida for a few days, about as hot and humid as it can get. I did some paddling on Merritt Island today after a short flight with an ultralight and tried to do the Econ River in the evening but a bad lightning storm came in. It is a nice place to paddle, dolphins. manatees, plenty of gators, and unbeleivable bird life. The best part is that if you roll the humidity stays about the same and the temperature drops a little. The East side is supposed to stay stormy so I drove to Tampa tonight and will check it out in the morning.
