: Ditto. If it were me, I'd just cut the entire coaming off at deck
: level. Make the necessary changes to the rear of the cockpit,
: i.e., cut further back towards the bulkead, and replace the
: coaming riser/lip with a new one. Should be a pretty simple job,

I haven't used the boat enough to notice any problem emptying it, but thats another possible reason for making some changes. I need some momentum of purpose to overcome my laziness.

So what would your procedure be for making this mod? I have built skinboats but never even worked on S&G. Could I also do it w/o removing the entire coaming?
