nice idea, testing with the float!
personally, for touring i have several layers of cell foam sheet in front of a custom minicell seat of "normal" length, and top that off with my rain jacket rolled up.
the jacket is handily available, and the minicell sheets serve to sit on during breaks, and to sleep on at night.
on short exercise paddles i have a different, more spartan set-up, just to give that bum some exercise, too...
greetings,
risto
: What Allen said. The cheap and easy way to find out if this will
: help you is to put a paddle float under your knees and inflate
: it enough to raise the knees two or three inches. If this helps
: your problem set up your cockpit accordingly.
: I made my own minicell foam seat. It reaches to just before my
: knees and starts at 3/8 inch tall at my butt to three inches at
: the front. Ummm, comfy.
