If it's numb feet, and mainly numb feet, it might be the foot rests as well. In all the commercial kayaks I have been paddling, with teh foot rests mounted on the out walls, I get numb feet if I am not extremely careful to continuously change the position of my feet.

I'm just trying to say that if it's all below the knee where the problem is arising, it may not be the seat.
