Thanks guys. When I sewed on the polyester, I didn't pull really tight, but did pull it so it was snug while stiching. Jeff- I used your video for instruction, so thanks for that. It was very helpful. Other than the pull holes, everything went very well. Dave- I like your idea of using half cured/thickened urethane to plug holes. That should work out just fine. My holes aren't HUGE, but enough so that the first 3 coats of fresh paint didn't want to completely seal them. A fourth heavy coat along the stiched area worked though...... On the ZAR boat, I'll use the thickened urethane to seal them up. Can you use any of the skin dye's with the ZAR? I look the translucent look, but would also like a bit of color.
