Looking at your boat, your forms 1 and 2 start going horizontal.

Yes, you will bevel the strips and you should use 1/2 width strips to get around that bend on the forward deck.

Here's what I do: take your strip and place it along the boat and put pencil tick marks on the strip corresponding to your forms. A good way to work is have a little shelf along the boat on each side so you can lay the strip there and bevel it with a block plane. As I bevel a section, I now push it up in position and see how it fits. The little pencil marks let me know what area I'm working on. I go section by section, often beveling a few feet at a time. That strip will have a pretty strong bevel on your front deck. Put a pencil line along the strip as it is beveled to completion so you don't start re-beveling a section that you just did. Two strips will get your around the bend and back to full width strips. Don't forget, since a strip has two edges, the angle to make a 45 degree bend has to be around half of that with two faces touching.

Don't panic. It's easier than you imagine. and if you off a tiny bit, error on the over beveled side so you get tight outside joints. You can always fill the inside with a tiny bit of putty. Nobody can cut two half width strips and make a rolling bevel 90 degree corner perfectly. But you can easily make the outside joints perfect.
