Our visit with Etienne and his family was the high point of our adventures in Ireland.
Both Ryan and I agreed that of the many great things we did and saw in Ireland the paddle with Etienne was our favorite.
After a wonderful lunch with both of our extended families breaking bread together, we joined Etienne for an fantastic afternoon.
After all imagine a tour of a very nice boat building shop, then getting to select your kayak from a rack filled with wonderful wood kayaks.
Followed being led by a kind and charming guide amongst islands full of wonderful sights and sea birds, and having curious seals pop their heads ut to check you out.
Take a break by exploring the ruins of a victorian mansion, shitch kayaks so you can try another design, and finish your paddle up with a tour through an intimate series of inlets and channels under foot bridges and past chaming waterside homes.
What more could one who enjoys building and paddling kayaks wish for!!!!!!!
