Thanks for sharing that story, John. Over the past 10 years, I have had the good fortune to meet many paddlers who use this site. I have enjoyed meeting each and every one of them. From Fort Worden to Salt Lake, Ut, all the driving was well worth it. Some of you have even come here to paddle my end of the world...what a treat to meet and paddle. I think if we all did that more often, we'd get to see some pretty wonderful parts of the continent with some most excellent guides. What a great crew we have on board here at the Kayak Forum.
