: I'd also highly not recommend Rustoleum's water based paint. While
: it works ok and is fairly tough it takes an insane number of
: coats to get anywhere near full coverage. On my Sea Ranger I
: used it and it's held up fine and I like the semi-gloss finish,
: but it took 6 quarts of paint to get there with two coats per
: quart, that's 12 coats of paint !

: Could have been paddling a week or more earlier if I'd used oil
: based paint. Can always use a dulling agent to make gloss oil
: based paint semi-gloss.
