It's completely off topic, but I'm building a canoe prototype. It's secret code name is "Darth Canoe." It's a symmetrical, 16'6" long, 34" wide, traditional-looking canoe. I'm using 1/8" strips for the side and switching to 3/16" strips for the turn of the bilge and the bottom. I'm going to dye it a deep deep walnut, and the inside is going to be covered with carbon fiber. I haven't decided on trim yet. If the weather holds, it should be stripped by tomorrow evening and glasses by Monday or Tuesday.
