: Looking to do a first kayak build but, want to do a kit, or at
: least but the strips pre-cut. This will save me a tone of time
: and give me best chance of success. I am thinking of thinner
: strips than 1/4", maybe 3/16" or 0.20".
: It seems that strips sources I have found all offer just 1/4".
: Anyone know where I can order thinner strips?
: Will I need to cut my own?
: Thx,
: Rob
Rob,
My first build was from a Spring Run kit by Redfish Kayaks in Washington State. Joe Greenley is the owner of Redfish and he supplied 3/16" bead and cove strips with his kit. He also sells strips by the foot. Check out the Redfish site at http://www.redfishkayak.com/
